About this tool

This converter was built by a designer with 30+ years in visual production who got tired of watching friends and clients struggle with the same problem: an iPhone photo that simply wouldn't open on a Windows PC, a print shop's upload form, or an old family laptop.

The problem with existing converters

Most online HEIC converters make you upload your photos to their servers. That's slow, it fails on large batches, and — more importantly — your personal photos end up on a stranger's computer, governed by a privacy policy nobody reads.

Our approach

Modern browsers are powerful enough to convert images on their own. So that's what this tool does: everything runs locally on your device. It's faster (no upload wait), it works on any batch size, and privacy isn't a promise we make — it's how the tool is physically built. Your photos cannot end up on our servers, because there is no server involved.

Free, supported by ads

The tool is free and always will be. The site is supported by non-intrusive advertising, which covers hosting and development. Ads never interfere with the conversion itself, and your files are never part of what advertisers see — they only see a normal web page.
